We are getting ready to move (Nov. 21 is "THE DAY")! It has been a bit overwhelming for me and has forced me to do stuff that I would rather make Tel do, but we are coping. We sold our house, YAY! And everything is falling in to place which is a very good thing or else I think I would go crazy :)

FLIGHT SCHOOL HERE WE COME!
We FINALLY have a date for flight school! We have been waiting...and waiting...and waiting...and NOW we have a VALID flight school dates, there have been "for sure's" in the past, but this is the real thing! Tel leaves October 4!!! He will go to more training for about 6 weeks and then come home (around Thanksgiving), pick us up, and then we will be off to Fort Rucker, AL! It is astonishing to think we are REALLY going this time! YAY!

City of Rocks
Being in "limbo" waiting for flight school has been rough. After 6 months of waiting around, not daring to do anything because we might be leaving soon I decided to just pretend we weren't waiting for anything. Layton High needed a head track coach (they were going to send the athletes to a rival school to practice) so I drove 45min to and from practice everyday so I could be the coach. (My coaching experience is another story)... One day Tel & I just felt like we needed some family time so we jumped in the car and drove to City of Rocks (it's either an Idaho State Park or a National Park). We had some much fun! Joselyn and Maverick rode in the stroller and Brooklyn was in the baby carrier as we hiked around. We all played on the rock formations and then we found a little stream we played in for awhile. It was so much fun and just what we needed!
Brooklyn is now 9 months. We thought we was our "bigger" baby, but nope really she is super-little. She is only in the 9th percentile for her weight! She now eats finger foods, crawls around (she still does the army crawl inside, but on the grass she crawls for real), pulls herself up to standing, loves to play with her siblings, and is simply a wonderful, wonderful baby (except when she is teething)!
Maverick is our crazy boy! He is always running, climbing, making messes, or shooting his guns. He loves to jump and make grunting noises as he does it...we are hoping that doesn't mean is he going to be a violent boy. He loves playing outside and going for bike rides (motorcycle rides with dad or bicycle rides with mom). He is talking a lot more now to Tel's relief!
Joselyn is getting so big! She loves singing, dancing, playing outside, looking for rolly pollies, etc. She cracks us up with the funny things she says and does. One of her favorite things now is to "read" the letters of everything. Although, she would love to go to school as soon as possible I'm glad that she still has one more year before she starts kindergarton because she is such a big helper!
The girls!
The family! The last update from the military is that they have some dates for August this year, but they are trying to get earlier dates. Tel & I liked the idea of August (we want any concrete date, but then we also have the summer to play, sale the house, Tel is taking a M.S. class, etc). When Tel told Captain Smith that we would take the August date, Captain Smith said that he needed Tel gone sooner so that he could be deployed with their unit (January 2012...so we were get home from flight school and Tel would have to do some other certifications here before he could fly in combat). So of course Tel doesn't want to miss getting deployed so he wants to go ASAP, but August still sounds good to me!

Being sick & being a mom don't mix!
I have been sick since Saturday night, and let me tell you- being sick and being a mom don't mix! It has been absolutely horrible. It's not like I'm even "extremely sick", but boy is it rough. Of course, now the kids are getting it so they aren't sleeping as well and I am not completely over it so you can imagine what life it like. I'm just so tired and exhausted. Any patience I had before is now completely non-existent. Why oh why won't my kids at least take a nap....is that really too much to ask!

I was TAGGED
My sister-in-law tagged me so now I need to list 6 unique things about myself. (To be honest, I have been putting this off because Amy's post was so funny. Sorry to disappoint you all, but I have lost a lot of my humor- I guess I don't interact with adults often enough. Rest assured my kids think I'm funny, but to make them laugh all I need to do is make a "shocked" expression and they are all dying with laughter!) So here we go:
1-I have 3 kids age 3 and under! Okay this may not be unique in Utah, but I'm still calling it unique. Tel tricked me. When we were first married he would say "We should just have 4 kids in 4 years. Those first couple of years would be hell, but then it would be awesome! Just think you would only have to lose weight once!" It sounded so crazy and I was totally against it, but somehow his plan is working out!
2- I've always been self confident. In fact, during the "rough years" (Junior High) I received the "Self-esteem award" two years in a row for having good self-esteem and helping others feel better about themselves. For example, I've always be able to admit when I look good in a picture.
3- Most people say life gets busier and busier, but I would say my life has slowed down. In college I was crazy, crazy busy. Now I feel like life has slowed down dramatically, back to filling like it will take forever for Christmas to come again! I'm sure its because with 3 kids you would be crazy to try to do everything. Instead I just get to enjoy this stage of life!
4- I would rather speak in front of a big group of people than talk to someone I barely know "one-on-one". There was a time when I could B.S. with anyone about anything, but those skills have faded. Instead I feel so awkward trying to make conversation with people that I don't know that well.
5- At one time in my life I could run a 4:19 1500 (aka under 4:40 mile). I may not be that fast now, BUT sometimes when I run up the stairs to get the phone or when I run a dirty diaper outside I can't help but think "I've still got it!"
6- I'm married to the BEST husband, no really, sometimes its really annoying. For example, during our last big fight I knew I was in the wrong so I tried to think of other bad qualities that Tel has to justify to myself a reason for being so mad...I could only think of one thing! It was so annoying! He really is the most extraordinary dad! I think it is extremely unique to have a husband who helps out so much. I'm sure one lucky girl!
I'm tagging: Jenn, Lida, Cathie, Dani, Nellie, & anyone else who wants to
